Origin:
This crystallised dark amber honey comes from bees feeding on feeding on organic arabica coffee bean plantations in Chiapas, Mexico, one of the world's finest coffee producing regions, almost 1500 metres above sea level.
The indigenous tribes of Chiapas manage 1500 independent coffee plantations as the main source of their livelihood. Trees in these plantations reach 9-12m in height with the annual bloom producing small white flowers of 10-15mm diameter. 8-9 months later the flowers ripen into the shiny red coffee "cherries." Each coffee cherry contains two arabic seeds, or beans.
Bees feed on the nectar from these trees to produce our Raw Organic Coffee Bean Honey.
Coffee honey with a 16% coffea arabica pollen count is considered good coffee honey. This honey has an exceptional coffea arabica pollen count of 40%! Best of all, we bring it to your table straight from the hive - raw, living and unfiltered.

This honey has a lab certified antibacterial Total Activity rating of 20.5. This means that it is equal to a 20.5% antibacterial solution. It can be consumed like any other honey or applied on the skin in small amounts.
